INDIANAPOLIS -- Colts quarterback Andrew Luck returned to practice Wednesday, but Head Coach Chuck Pagano said he will not play Sunday.
Luck has missed six games this season, including the last four for the team, and 40-year-old veteran Matt Hasselbeck has filled in.
Luck participated in individual drills only on Wednesday, and has not been cleared for 11-on-11 drills as of yet.
Coach Pagano also said that Hasselbeck did not practice Wednesday, but is still the choice for the quarterback position on Sunday when the Colts play divisional opponent Houston for first place in the AFC South if he is healthy enough to start. Pagano said he is preparing third string QB Charlie Whitehurst throughout the week also, just in case.
