Forbes names Colts' Andrew Luck the 6th highest paid athlete in the world

INDIANAPOLIS -- Andrew Luck has been named the sixth highest paid athlete in the world by Forbes. 

The Indianapolis Colts quarterback signed a six-year contract extension last fall for $123 million which included $32 million in signing bonuses.  

According to Forbes, the only athletes who make more than Luck are Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer and Kevin Durant. 

The only NFL athlete that came close to Luck is New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees, who ranked 11 on the list.
