INDIANAPOLIS -- Thirty-seven seconds. The Indianapolis Colts defense needed to keep the Detroit Lions from getting into field goal range on Sunday for 37 seconds while they held on to a small lead.
But we all know what happened.
The Lions marched down the field in four plays, and kicked a 43-yard go-ahead field goal.
What happened to the Colts defense late in Sunday's game?
One answer is injuries.
Many people, especially in the secondary, became injured during the game.
"That's what you sign up for," linebacker D'Qwell Jackson said. "I'm sure every guy in the building is taking extra care of their body this week because at one point throughout the game, you just kept seeing bodies on the ground, and you hoped and prayed you weren't going to be next."
On Monday night's Horseplay, RTV6's Dave Furst and Michael Grady broke down the injury situation that plagued the Colts defense late in the game. Watch in the video player above.
