NEW JERSEY (AP) - Vice President-elect Mike Pence was a guest of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson for the Monday night game against the Indianapolis Colts.

He heard plenty of booing - but it wasn't directed at him. Johnson's team got manhandled in the opening half, falling behind 24-3 to Andrew Luck's Colts, prompting plenty of jeers from the crowd at MetLife Stadium.

Pence, the running mate of President-elect Donald Trump, was given an onstage earful by actor Brandon Victor Dixon, who plays Aaron Burr in the Broadway musical "Hamilton," about equality after a performance on Nov. 18.

Johnson, who initially supported Jeb Bush's campaign during the presidential primary, shifted to support Trump when he secured the Republican nomination. Johnson was the vice chairman of Trump's victory committee, and is a member of his inaugural committee.
