BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- Brownsburg High School has hired a new football coach.
The school announced John Hart will be the new varsity football coach.
Hart has a career record in Indiana and Illinois of 267-81. He was named "Coach of the Year" 13 times, and has completed 28 winning seasons out of 29.
Hart will also teach physical education and health at Brownsburg.
He won IHSAA state championships with Evansville Reitz in 2007 and Warren Central in 2009.
"I am excited to be back in the Indianapolis area and proud to be the head coach of Brownsburg High School," Hart said in a press release. "We will begin immediately to assemble the best staff possible to help our players to reach their full potential as students, athletes, and as productive members in our community."
