INDIANAPOLIS -- The B1G Ten college basketball tournament brings fans from around the nation to cheer on their alma mater, and for Indianapolis residents who didn't attend IU or Purdue, it means showing your true colors.
So if you're short on tickets, or just want a place to pre-game (and maybe even post-game), here's a list of Visit Indy's official restaurant/bar pairings for each respective school.
The women's tournament goes from March 2-6 while the men's tournament runs from March 9-13 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Of course Kilroy's is owned and operated by the No. 12 Hoosiers, but Scotty's will be converting to black and gold for No. 15 Purdue the upcoming men's and women's championships.
Top-25 ranked Iowa fans will take over the Indianapolis Colts Grille, Wisconsinites should giddy up to Cadillac Ranch and next-door neighbors Illinois and Ohio State will set up at Ram and Champps respectively.
In the category of outsourced local: Penn State was given a home at Harry & Izzy's (hope you Nittany Lions can handle the heat of the cocktail sauce) and tournament favorite Michigan State was assigned to the Slippery Noodle (but I don't think this will go over too well with the locals).
Whoever you're rooting for, you're bound to find some common fans in each of these locations. See the tweet below for the full list.
