INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers added a new piece to their 2019-20 roster hours before Thursday's NBA Draft.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pacers received T.J. Warren, a 6-for-8-inch small forward, and the 32nd draft pick from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for cash. Warren has three years and $35 million on his contract, Wojnaraowski tweeted. The trade will not be finalized until July 6.
Warren, who Phoenix drafted with the 14th pick in 2014, has averaged 14.4 points per game in five seasons. He averaged 18.0 points on 48 percent shooting last season in 43 games.
The Pacers also have the 18th and 50th picks in draft.
