The $37 million "Project 100" is coming along at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, despite a rainy summer putting a damper on construction.

The project includes updates to the paddock penthouse, along with stands A and B.

The updates will raise the roof by 17 feet and also get rid of support beams, creating better sightlines.

The IMS is also adding club seats outside of Turn 4 and taking down some 20 acres of fencing, to be replaced with more modern materials.

All of the upgrades are scheduled to be completed by the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 next year.
