SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- Former Indy 500 poll winner Alex Tagliani appeared to be okay after a crash during the second day of Indy 500 qualifying.
Tagliani was on his warm-up lap during qualifying for the final 23 positions in the race when his car got loose, hit the entrance to pit row and spun several times. Tagliani walked away from the crash.
Tagliani was the fifth driver attempting a qualifying run on Sunday.
