INDIANAPOLIS – The 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 is less than three months away, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials revealed the ticket design for this year’s race Thursday.

Joined by 2016 Indy 500 winner Alexander Rossi, who is featured on the ticket, officials said the design is more traditional with some 3D foil elements added.

Rossi said he was a big fan of the design.

"I think they did a great job with the ticket and it’s great that my team is featured on it with me. I just look forward to do it again and hopefully we can unveil another ticket in 2018,” said Rossi.

The event also marked the start of a brand new Indy 500 milk bottle campaign. Every day a bottle will be delivered leading up to the race.

The first bottle was presented to Cummins CEO, Tom Linebarger.
