BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – Beer is a staple at the Indy 500, but this year you’ll get the chance to crack open a can of wine.

Mallow Run Winery, on the city’s south side, released its line of canned wines ahead of the Indy 500. The petite cans can be purchased ahead of time and packed into a cooler the day of the race.

The 500 Traminette uses a slightly sweet grape wine with a touch of carbonation.

One can sells for $6 and a four pack can be purchased for $20.
