INDIANAPOLIS — The Pacers lost for the third time in four games Thursday, falling to Denver 124-116.
The Nuggets were up by four heading into the final period, led by as many as 10 in the fourth, and held off the Pacers down the stretch.
Indiana was hurt on the boards. Denver owned a 47-34 rebounding advantage.
Jeremy Lamb led the Pacers with 30 points. Michael Porter Jr. was tops for the Nuggets with 25.
Denver was won 10 of its last 12 games and is now 24-10. The Pacers fall to 22-13 and will be at Atlanta Saturday.
