INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers clinched their spot in the NBA Finals with a thrilling 125-108 victory over the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night. Capitalizing on their second chance, the Pacers eliminated the Knicks and completed the series with an impressive 4-2 lead.
This victory marks only the second Finals appearance in franchise history, and the first time in 25 years, igniting celebrations across Indiana. Having suffered a tough loss in Game 5, the Pacers bounced back strong, demonstrating resilience and determination throughout the night.
The Knicks showed promise by winning two of the last three games, thanks to adjustments made by Coach Tom Thibodeau, including the insertion of Mitchell Robinson into the starting lineup.
With this victory, the Pacers will now head to the Finals. Game 1 is Thursday, June 5th at 8:30pm/et on WRTV.
