INDIANAPOLIS — The Pacers lost a 17 point third quarter lead and fell to the Celtics 116-111 Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

It was Indiana's first loss in four games to open the season. The Celtics are now 2-2.

The Pacers, as in their previous meeting with Boston on Sunday, came out of halftime strong and built up a 17 point advantage in the third quarter and were up by 11 heading into the final period.

But with four minutes left in the game, Indiana found itself down by nine points. The Pacers fought back and trailed by just two with one minute to go, but that would be as close as it got.

All Indiana starters scored in double figures, led by Victor Oladipo with 24 points. Jayson Tatum had 27 points and 11 rebounds for Boston.
