INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Pacers Point Guard Malcolm Brogdon has tested positive for COVID-19.

Brogdon released the following statement Wednesday afternoon:

"I recently tested positive for the COVID virus and am currently in quarantine. I'm doing well, feeling well and progressing well. I plan to join my teammates in Orlando for the resumption of the NBA season and playoffs."

He is just the latest NBA star to test positive for the virus, following the announcement Tuesday that Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic had tested positive.

The Pacers are planning to head to Orlando next month after the NBA Board of Governors approved a plan to resume the 2019-2020 season with 22 of the league's 30 teams with all games being played at one site — the huge Disney World sports complex in Orlando.
