INDIANAPOLIS — The familiar cry of "Boom Baby" could be back on the airwaves soon.
Bobby "Slick" Leonard hopes to return as color commentator on Pacer home radio broadcasts later this month.
That's according to the team's website.
Leonard has been off the air since late-December when he fell at home.
He's had a number of health issues in recent years but now says he anxious to get out of the house.
As a coach, Leonard took the Pacers to three American Basketball Association championships.
He's been a broadcaster with the team for more than 30-years.
