INDIANAPOLIS — Pacers star Victor Oladipo is lost for the season.

The team announced Thursday that an MRI revealed he has a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee.

Oladipo suffered the injury in the first half of Wednesday's win over Toronto.

He was averaging 19-points per-game for the Pacers this season.

Center Myles Turner got the news Thursday afternoon during a team practice and says the Pacers, without Oladipo, will still be a contending team in the NBA Eastern Conference.

"We've got to move forward, it's the next man up mentality," said Turner. "We know we are a good team and we want to be a great team."

Indiana is in third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 32-15.

Oladipo missed 11-games earlier in the season and the Pacers stepped up without him and won seven of those games.

The former Indiana University player came to the Pacers last season, averaged 23-points per-game and made the NBA All Star Team.
