The Scarlet Knights won it 81-76 after leading by six at the half.
Purdue got 21 points and 12 rebounds from Trevion Williams and Isaiah Thompson had 17 points.
The Boilers fall to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in conference play. Rutgers is 7-1.
