INDIANAPOLIS — Six of the top teams in men's college basketball are playing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, but you can't get a ticket.

The games are being held in a mostly empty arena due to COVID-19 restrictions. They are the first games at Bankers Life since COVID-19 shut down sports in March.

Kentucky, Kansas, Baylor, Gonzaga, Illinois and West Virginia are all ranked in the top 25 of the college polls. Gonzaga is number one and Baylor is second.

The action started late Tuesday night, in a Champions Classic Game, and it was a tight one. Kansas just got by Kentucky, 65-62.

Wednesday, West Virginia takes on Gonzaga followed by Illinois and Baylor.

Then on Saturday, it's an early-season battle between the top two ranked teams, Gonzaga and Baylor.

It's a long way to March and April, but the teams here this week could be back for the NCAA Men's Tournament. Indianapolis hosts the 2021 Final Four, and there is also talk of moving the entire tournament here due to the pandemic.
