The next time you go on a Target run, you’re going to want to treat yourself. That’s because the newest offering at the big box store’s cafe is the Baby Narwhal Icee.

If you’re asking what the heck a narwhal even is, it’s a delightfully adorable single-tusk whale (Monodon monoceros) that can be found swimming in Arctic waters near Canada, Greenland, Norway and Russia.

Nicknamed the “unicorn of the sea,” their tusks resemble a unicorn’s horn. They’re considered a near-threatened species, with about 80,000 left in the wild. These magical-looking creatures are even cuter in a smaller form as babies.

As for what the Narwhal Baby Icee actually tastes like, that’s anyone’s guess — except that we’re pretty sure the frozen carbonated beverage isn’t going to be fishy.

Icee posted about the new flavor at Target on Facebook:

“Happy #Valentines Day!” read the post from Feb. 14. “Our gift to you is the cutest, most adorably delicious flavor ever, baby narwhal!! @Target.”

Instagram user @racheldorncermaics snapped a photo of the Icee machine at her local Target, and it looks like the new flavor is a light pink shade:

Although they didn’t describe what it tastes like, Instagrammer @hellokittyhellopretty declared the new flavor to be “BOMBBB”:

With its pink hue, maybe the new drink has a strawberry, raspberry or cherry flavor. It also looks like it could taste like pink lemonade, or maybe like cotton candy or bubblegum.

The narwhal is actually a real mammal — but the public love for it has taken on mythic proportions thanks to its unlikely single horn and its unbelievable cuteness. And this is not the first time Target has rolled out a new Icee flavor based on a well-loved mythical creature.

Back in May 2019, they introduced the Mermaid Icee. This limited-edition flavor was blue in color and featured a combination of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry flavors.

Check it out, as posted to Instagram by @theimpulsivebuy:

In 2018, Target’s cafe offered the Pink Unicorn Icee. Twitter user @ReneBarba89 shared a snap of a sign advertising the drink in-store and said he was told it was watermelon-flavored:

Just like the Mermaid Icee and the Pink Unicorn Icee before it, we’re guessing that the Baby Narwhal Icee will only be available for a limited time, so be sure to snag one while you can!
