INDIANAPOLIS — The Department of Public Works reported a water main break on the southeast side of Indianapolis on Friday evening that will close all through traffic.
There was a culvert failure at 7800 East Southport Road, according to the Department of Public Works. This is between Five Points Road and Franklin Road.
According to DPW, the break will take hours to fix, and officials do not have a concrete time for when through traffic will be permitted.
In the meantime, drivers can make a detour at Stop 11.
