INDIANAPOLIS — If you have a great eye and a solid lens, this is your chance to get your photography featured on a statewide scale.
The Indiana Department of Agriculture is now accepting submissions for its 12th annual Indiana agriculture photo contest.
It’s open to Indiana residents. The winners will be invited to a special ceremony at the Indiana State Fair and will be recognized and will receive certificates from Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Bruce Kettler.
Contestants can submit up to five photos in digital format. Each photo must be taken within the state, accompanied by an entry form and fall under one of the following categories: Agritourism, Conservation, Faces of Agriculture or On the Farm.
Ten winners will be chosen: Two from each category and two overall.
Photos will be evaluated based on creativity, composition and category representation. Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. (ET) June 30.
