...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT TO
NOON EST TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Very low wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, south
central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana.
* WHEN...From midnight Sunday Night to noon EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could
result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
