INDIANAPOLIS -- Winter Weather Preparedness Week for the state of Indiana is November 12 - 18.
The Indianapolis Department of Homeland Security will be holding community meetings in every township of Marion county to keep you prepared.
The purpose of these meetings will be to highlight what you need to keep both your vehicle and home ready for the winter weather.
The National Weather Service winter outlook will be shared as well as information on where to go in case of an emergency (power outage) and locations of nearest warming centers.
