Severe storms and tornadoes ripped through central Indiana on Monday night leaving a trail of debris in their wake.

9:00 a.m.
The Emergency Management Director gave a brief update on storm damage and their recovery plan in Pendleton this morning.
He says the emergency shelter at the high school remains open for anyone who needs it.
They expect to have power restored in the next few days to those who are affected, but the actual time could vary depending on the severity of the damage.

The Madison County Sheriff says "most of the town of Pendleton" is without power at this time. Crews are working diligently to remove debris, damaged trees and repair downed power lines.
7:30 a.m.
Storm damage reports continue to come in from across central Indiana, including some from a strong line of storms that hit in Grant County last night.
