MARTINSVILLE, Ind. -- Many living in Morgan County spent Thursday cleaning up the damage left behind by Wednesday night's storms.
Sherry McFardland said the damage to her garage and carport are severe, but her family got lucky because her home was left unscathed.
The large, uprooted tree landed on their garage, carport and two cars.
"The whole thing just fell," said McFardland. "But the truck is fine; the dirt bikes are fine. I got pretty lucky."
South Central Indiana REMC in Martinsville said the storms left behind a lot of damage in Morgan, Clay and Brown counties. No injuries were reported.
At one point over 4,000 people were without power from the storms.
Crews from out of state were brought in to help repair utility lines that were damaged by all of the downed trees. They expect to have power restored to most customers by Friday evening.
