CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. -- The National Weather Service said an EF1 and an EF0 tornado both touched down in parts of central Indiana Saturday evening.

The EF1 Tornado, with winds between 90-95 mph, touched down briefly in Clinton County, causing severe damage to a local fire station and some nearby buildings.

Clinton County Emergency Management Director Darrel Sanders says the Forrest fire station has extensive damage from the tornado which ripped off a wall and part of the roof from the building. Sanders said firefighters were still able to stay inside because the damage was all to one side.

An EF0 tornado touched, with winds between 60-65 mph, touched down in Wolcott.

Reports of damage in nearby Howard and White counties from the same system are still being assessed. So far no injuries have been reported from the storm.
