INDIANAPOLIS -- Thousands of people were without power in the hours after strong storms moved through central Indiana Tuesday evening.
At one point Wednesday morning, more than 11,000 people were without power across central Indiana.
Fortunately, only a few damage reports came with those storms in the form of toppled trees and lightning strikes.
Around midnight a large tree fell down on top of a house on Audubon Drive in Carmel. No injuries were reported.

A tree also brought down power lines on 71st Street just west of Meridian Street, knocking out power to the area. It has since been restored.
A home in Columbus was struck by lightning, causing damage to a deck and garage wall.
And at least five turkey barns were reported destroyed in Lawrence County after the storms came through. Other barns had their roofs and walls torn away from the high winds in Boone County.
The same line of storms that made its way through the state were also responsible for at least two deaths. One in Illinois and another in Missouri earlier in the night.
