Torrential rainfall could lead to street flooding in Speedway and neighborhoods on the north side of Indianapolis, according to Storm Team 6.

Reports of standing water on streets were coming in from around Indianapolis Tuesday afternoon following a heavy rainfall.

INDOT's traffic conditions map showed traffic slowed near both the north and south splits of I-65/I-70, as well as on I-465 near Castleton.

Emergency crews were also called to rescue a driver that became stranded in high water on the east side near the intersection of Sherman Drive and Southeastern Avenue.
