Weather Blog: Winter storm takes aim on Indiana through Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS — A winter storm is taking aim on starting Wednesday afternoon and it will bring a mixed bag of snow, sleet and rain depending on where you live in the state.

As of Wednesday evening, some schools started to delay school on Thursday and travel advisories were already in place.

7:26 p.m.
There are at least 71 closings and delays reported to RTV6. View the latest closings here.

7:24 p.m.
Fulton, Howard, Clinton, Boone, Hamilton, Madison, Hancock, Henry, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, and Vermilion counties were under a travel advisory, according to the Indian Department of Homeland Security. Under a travel advisory, routine travel may be restricted and motorists should use caution when on traveling.
