FLOYD COUNTY — The body of a woman was pulled from the Ohio River Sunday afternoon.
The Department of Natural Resources says conservation officers spotted the body in the river near New Albany around 4 p.m. The body was recovered about an hour later and determined to be a female.
The Floyd County Coroner is working to determine the identity and cause of death of the woman.
The woman's death remains under investigation at this time.
