INDIANAPOLIS -- Two men were arrested in connection with an attempted robbery on Indianapolis' southeast side.
Just after 10 a.m. Thursday, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1400 block of S. State Street for an attempted robbery.
Police spoke with the victim, who said the suspect thought money was owed to him.
The victim refused to pay, so the suspect, Shane Tapscott, threatened him with a knife. Tapscott also threw a rock, breaking the victim's windshield, according to an IMPD press release.
A second suspect, Rodney Barbour, hit the victim in the face before both men ran.
Barbour was located in the 1600 block of Harlan Street later that evening. He was interviewed and arrested. Tapscott was found later that night, and arrested under an unrelated case.
