INDIANAPOLIS -- The death of Florence Henderson hits even harder for some of us in central Indiana.
Henderson sang at the Indianapolis 500 for many years, then served as Grand Marshal for the 2016 race. Henderson was born in Dale, Indiana, a small town near Santa Claus, Indiana.
Saddened by passing of Indiana's own Florence Henderson. She brought joy to generations of TV viewers and Indy 500 fans. She will be missed.
