INDIANAPOLIS -- It's Indy Taco Week! This week, you can get special deals for tacos at some of the best restaurants in Indianapolis.
Indy Taco Week runs through Feb. 25, and features 50 percent off tacos at restaurants all over Indianapolis. It is also a fundraiser for Second Helpings, an organization that provides meals for thousands of people every day.
Indy Taco Week is only available for dine-in, and organizers give three tips for hungry patrons:
- Be patient. There may be waits, especially at busy times or restaurants.
- Tip full price. The tacos are 50 percent off, but the servers are still working at 100 percent, so tip as if you were paying full price.
- Buy a drink and sides. It helps out the restaurants, and you'll experience more different food.
