Indianapolis airport named No. 1 in nation by Conde Nast

INDIANAPOLIS -- For the fourth year in a row, the Indianapolis International Airport has been named the best in the country by Conde Nast readers.

The airport received the award from the Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards, through more than 300,000 readers who voted.

The top ten list is filled with smaller airports, like Indianapolis'.

The travel website notes that the Indy airport has some of the best pre-and post-security food options and a smooth TSA procedure. 

"IND has a clear runway to take the top spot next year, too," the site notes.

  3. Long Beach Airport (LGB)
  4. Tampa International Airport (TPA)
  5. Bradley International Airport (BDL)
