John Williams conducting Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Feb. concert

INDIANAPOLIS -- Legendary composer John Williams will be in town to conduct the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in February, as the organization plays some of his most famous music. 

Williams will be in concert Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.

Williams is donating his time to the organization -- all proceeds will directly benefit the musicians of the ISO.

If you don't recognize his name, you'll recognize his work. He has composed some of the most recognizable soundtrack songs, from movies like:

  • "Schindler’s List"
  • "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial"
  • "Jaws"
  • "Jurassic Park"
  • "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
  • the "Indiana Jones" films
  • "Saving Private Ryan"
  • "Catch Me If You Can"
  • All the "Star Wars" films
  • the first three "Harry Potter" films
  • "Superman"

Tickets go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. Monday at the ISO box office at 317-639-4300.
