BROWNSBURG – Brownsburg firefighter Kevin Byron was named a “health care hero” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on WRTV Wednesday night.
Byron recently battled COVID-19. He was released from the hospital in April.
He was on a ventilator for more than a week and at one point, he was described by hospital staff as the “sickest person there.”
Bryon got to chat with Nathan Fillion from “The Rookie.” Byron is a fan of Fillion’s show.
He also received $10,000 along with other gifts for the firefighters at Brownsburg Station 133.
