GREENFIELD — Greenfield-Central High School students will move to a hybrid schedule starting Monday for the rest of the quarter.
Dr. Harold Olin, superintendent of Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation, made the announcement in a tweet Thursday afternoon.
Students will attend school for two days followed by two days online until the end of the first quarter in early October, Olin said in an email.
Greenfield-Central High School will begin a hybrid schedule on Monday, August 17th. High school students will attend school on 50% of the remaining school days in quarter one. The other 50% of the days, the students will participate virtually.

Olin said the school board accepted his recommendation to move the high school students to the hybrid schedule.
There are five total cases of COVID-19 in the district, Olin said. There are at least two confirmed cases at the high school, two at the junior high school, and one at Eden Elementary School.
