Hamilton County Health Department opens COVID-19 testing site in Carmel

CARMEL — The Hamilton County Health Department opened a COVID-19 testing site Wednesday in Carmel.

The testing site at Trinity Free Clinic, 14598 Oak Ridge Road near West 146th Street, is the second testing site opened by the county health department, according to a press release from the county.

The hours for the testing site are below:

Saturday8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Any Indiana resident can be tested at the new site in Carmel, according to the release. Appointments must be made online.

“We’re really excited to bring testing at Trinity Free Clinic online,” Chris Walker, emergency preparedness coordinator for the Hamilton County Health Department, said in the release. “This will be the first time we’ll be able to offer weekend testing hours for residents making it even more convenient to get a test.”

On Friday, the state-run testing site in Noblesville will close and reopen Monday at door nine above WorkOne at Ivy Tech Community College in Noblesville, according to the release.
