MUNCIE, Ind. -- Two people were arrested Saturday in connection with the overdose death of a Muncie man.

Dustin Rhodes, 29, was found dead Saturday morning near the intersection of 18th and S. Penn streets in Muncie.

Investigators with the Muncie Police Department believe Rachelle Tucker, 29, was supplying drugs to Rhodes and Matt Shacklefurd, 32 from her apartment.

Rhodes went into distress and was brought in to Shacklefurd's apartment. Police say Shackelfurd then left Rhodes in the front yard.

Hours later. Shacklefurd went to check on Rhodes and found him dead.

The person who eventually dialed 911 was not charged in connection with the overdose because they made the call.
