INDIANAPOLIS -- A 63-year-old man was hospitalized early Thursday morning after a shooting on Indianapolis' east side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to a house in the 800 block of N. Bradley Ave just after midnight Thursday.
They found a 63-year-old man in the kitchen of the house, with two or three gunshot wounds to the chest.
An IMPD spokesperson said the bullets missed all his key organs -- he was able to talk to police. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
Police say they have a pretty good idea who shot him, and might be making an arrest soon.
