INDIANAPOLIS -- A police chase ended in a crash and arrest Friday morning on Indianapolis' northwest side.
The chase began when an aggressive woman approached employees at the Hardee's near the intersection of 86th Street and Colby Road, police say.
When the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer approached her car, she ran over the officer's foot.
The injured officer is OK.
The chase lasted for 30 minutes, ending around 5:45 a.m. when it crashed into a stump in a front yard around 56th Street and Northland Road around 5:45 a.m. The woman was arrested and preliminarily charged with battery on law enforcement and resisting by vehicle.
