INDIANAPOLIS -- Tuesday's Amber Alert, the fifth of the year, is the latest in a two-year increase in the alerts over the past decade.
Between 2007-2015, 12 Amber Alerts were declared in the state. In the past year-and-a-half, another 12 have been declared.
Since 2007, two children have been found deceased following the alert.
Tuesday's Amber Alert was declared for three Indianapolis children who were believed to be in immediate danger by their mother, Mekielle Yaneek Pullins, 22. The alert was canceled about an hour later when all three children were located in the 2000 block of N. Luett Avenue.

Two 2-year-olds and an 8-month-old were abducted by their father, Anderson police say. The children were found and the father was taken into custody.

Two boys, ages 6 and 10, were found safe after they were abducted by their father, police said. The father hasn't been located.

A 13-year-old Fort Wayne girl was found safe hours after an Amber Alert was declared.
October 3, 2016 - Sheridan teen found safe in Terre Haute
A 17-year-old was found safe after an Amber Alert was declared in Sheridan, Indiana. Police in Terre Haute arrested Dustin Fischer.
October 3, 2016 - Infant and mother abducted by father
A 2-month-old boy was found safe in Illinois after he was abducted by his on-custodial father, police said. The boy's mother was also abducted.
Sept. 27, 2016 - Greenwood girl reported abducted, mother not facing charges
The mother of a 7-year-old girl didn't face any charges after it was reported that she abducted her 7-year-old child. The child was found safe, and the mother said it was a custody misunderstanding.
Sept. 26, 2016 - Two children found dead, mother pleads guilty
Amber Pasztor pleaded guilty in June 2017 to killing her two children. An Amber Alert was issued after she took them from their father's home. Their bodies were found in her vehicle.
April 12, 2016 - Gary toddler abducted at gunpoint
A 15-month-old child was abducted from his foster home by two men with sawed-off shotguns in Gary, Indiana. The boy was found safe a few hours later.
February 23, 2016 - Teenager didn't return after visitation
A 16-year-old girl didn't return from visitation with her father, leading to an Amber Alert. She was found in West Virginia.
