INDIANAPOLIS -- One man has been arrested in connection with a homicide from April.
Damarcus Jackson, 19, was arrested on preliminary charges of murder and attempted murder.
Detectives believe Jackson shot and killed Lonneisha Wellington on April 3. He is also accused of shooting and wounding her husband, Alexis Wellington.

The shooting happened in the 4000 block of Meadows Drive. When police arrived to the scene, they found both Lonneisha and Alexis, both with at least one gunshot wound. Lonneisha died at the hospital.
