INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a shooting on Indianapolis' west side.
The shooting happened in the 1300 block of S. Norfolk Street around 5 a.m.
The victim was taken to Eskenazi Health after he was shot in the stomach. He appeared to be alert and conscious as he was loaded into the ambulance.
Police say he was talking as he was being helped.
Police focused their investigation on one house on Norfolk Street. They entered the house to speak with the people inside.
