INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are asking for your help to track down a violent suspect who slashed a man in the face during an attempted robbery.
It happened Monday around 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Kroger at 4445 E. 10th Street on Indianapolis' east side.
Police say the suspect approached the victim as he was loading groceries into his car and asked for money.
When the victim refused, the suspect cut his face.
The suspect is described as a black man, wearing a black hoodie, multi-colored pants and dark shoes.
Police say the suspect and another man, who was waiting in the parking lot, got away in a red Pontiac Sunbird with a sunroof and spoiler on the trunk lid.
