BEECH GROVE, Ind. -- A teenage girl who ran away from her Beech Grove house has been found safe.
The 14-year-old was found by Beech Grove Police Detectives Thursday morning in a motel near the intersection of U.S. 31 and Thompson Road.
She was found with 25-year-old Joseph Patterson, the man police initially believed would be accompanying her.
Andrew and Melissa, the girl's parents, said right before their daughter disappeared, they discovered she had a secret cell phone and social media account.
