INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a stabbing in downtown Indianapolis.
The stabbing happened outside of Coaches Tavern, across the street from Scotty's Brewhouse.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but they will be OK.
A dispatcher with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said a suspect was in custody, but IMPD's Twitter account said that wasn't accurate.
No further information is available on the stabbing.
In April, Indianapolis saw a rash of downtown Indianapolis violence, leading to increased patrols from police.
