Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were searching for a 3-year-old girl, but she was found a few hours later.

The girl was seen in a house just south of Washington Street on Colorado Avenue before she went missing.

IMPD officers were seen checking in backyards and inside of nearby vehicles, looking for the girl.

She was found in the 4400 block of E. Pleasant Run Parkway. Police believe she climbed on a toy to open the door and get out of the house.
