INDIANAPOLIS -- Grab a beer and enjoy a ball game, because Indianapolis is popping.
According to a survey by Travel + Leisure magazine, Indianapolis' craft beer scene and love for sports earned it a spot on the top 10 most underrated cities list.
Indy came in at No. 4, behind Buffalo, New York, Nashville Tennessee and Providence, Rhode Island.
Indianapolis is getting new breweries all the time, and that's without mentioning Sun King and Flat 12 headquartered in the Circle City.

In the rankings, Indianapolis was also highly regarded for its "exceptionally friendly residents" (aw, shucks) and low prices.
Travel + Leisure talked to Indy resident Meggie Dials, who said:
“We have a community of people that love our city, that can get to work without hours of traffic, can afford beautiful homes and can find grassy areas for kids to play at every corner. And, maybe most importantly, we are nice.”
In the past, Travel + Leisure has liked Indy. Last year, the magazine named the city one of the 50 best places to travel in 2017.
